OpenClaw Global Unhackathon

OpenClaw Global Unhackathon — Dubai
A synchronized global build day. No noise. Just code.
On February 28th, builders in 24 AI Tinkerers cities around the world will sit down at the same time, open their laptops, and build with OpenClaw for five focused hours.
Dubai is one of those rooms.
This is not a conference.
Not a networking mixer.
Not a pitch competition.
It’s a heads-down build session for serious developers who want to explore, ship, debug, and experiment with OpenClaw alongside other committed builders.
If “set up OpenClaw properly” has been sitting on your backlog — this is your moment.
Forget the pitches, the panels, and the prizes. This event is dedicated solely to shipping code, setting up infrastructure, and debugging components side-by-side with other serious builders.
Event Details
- Date: Saturday, February 28th, 2026
-
Time: 14:00 – 20:00 (local time)
* Build Session: 14:00 – 18:00

We’ll build before Iftar, then break fast together .
Enter the Unhackathon
The Unhackathon strips away everything that usually distracts from building.
- No sponsors on stage
- No pitch decks
- No panels
- No prizes
- No judges
Just a room of OpenClaw builders working side-by-side for five uninterrupted hours.
There is a short framing at the start.
Then laptops open.
Then we build.
At the end, we’ll have optional show-and-tell — 2–3 minutes each.
Working code encouraged. WIPs welcome. Slides unnecessary.
If it runs, show it.
If it’s still breaking, that’s fine too.
Format
- 14:00 — Doors open, check-in
- 14:10 — 5-minute framing
- 14:15 – 18:00 — Open build session (OpenClaw-focused)
- 18:00 – 18:30 — Prepare for Iftar
- 18:30 onwards — Break fast together, continue demos & networking
No production setup. No formal AV.
Just builders and laptops.
Come hack on
OpenClaw is required. The day revolves around building with it.
- Infrastructure: Bringing in and setting up your Mac mini, configuring networking, deploying agents, and hardening your infra.
- Plugins & Components: Developing, integrating, and debugging specific tools, skills, components, and plugins.
- Peer Debugging: Leveraging the collective expertise in the room to solve roadblocks and accelerate your roadmap.
New project or existing one — your choice.
The only rule: build.
Registration & Contribution
This is not OpenClaw enthusiasts. This is OpenClaw tinkerers.
We’re looking for:
- Developers
- AI engineers
- Students who actively build
- Tinkerers with projects in motion
This is not a passive event.
When registering, include a short note about:
- What you’re building
- Your current stage
- What you want to accomplish during the session
Why Dubai?
Because Dubai doesn’t need another AI meetup.
It needs builders.
On February 28th, while rooms across the world are building with OpenClaw, we’ll be doing the same here — together.
Build before Iftar.
Break fast together.
Ship something real.
Space is limited in every city.
Not for everyone. For the ones who build.
Global Sponsors
CopilotKit
CopilotKit is the open-source framework developers use to seamlessly integrate deeply integrated AI copilots into their React applications. It provides the essential infrastructure, including robust React components and a Multi-Copilot Protocol (MCP) server and client, to build sophisticated AI assistance. This powerful tooling enables developers to quickly add customizable, context-aware AI features, such as autocompleting textareas or full-fledged AI coding agents, significantly enhancing user experiences. We’re excited about their latest 1.5 release which enables durable, long-running agents that feel native to your product.

ElevenLabs
**ElevenLabs is a leading AI voice platform that developers use to integrate natural, expressive speech into their applications and agents. It provides high-performance text-to-speech, real-time streaming, and voice synthesis APIs that make it easy to transform raw LLM outputs into production-grade audio experiences. This powerful infrastructure enables builders to quickly add lifelike voice interfaces, conversational agents, and multimodal workflows that move beyond the chat window.
Composio
Composio is the integration layer developers use to give AI agents real-world capabilities across hundreds of tools and APIs. It provides secure, production-ready connectors and authentication flows that let agents interact with platforms like GitHub, Slack, Notion, Google Workspace, and more — without teams having to manually wire OAuth, manage tokens, or maintain brittle custom integrations. This infrastructure enables builders to quickly move from “chatbot” to fully operational agent that can read, write, trigger workflows, and take action across real systems.

Auth0
Auth0 for AI Agents is the secure authentication and authorization layer developers use to make AI-powered applications and agents trustworthy in production. It extends Auth0’s enterprise-grade identity platform with tools like Universal Login, Token Vault, fine-grained authorization, and async human approval, so agents can securely authenticate users, call APIs on their behalf, and access only permitted data with clear consent flows. This foundation enables builders to focus on innovation instead of reinventing auth, bringing secure, user-safe agent experiences to life.

OpenRouter
OpenRouter is the largest and most popular AI gateway for developers offering better prices, higher uptime, and enterprise-grade reliability while eliminating vendor lock-in.

Vapi
Vapi Vapi is the infrastructure layer powering the next wave of voice AI products. If your hack involves real-time conversations, voice agents, or speech-driven workflows, Vapi gives you production-grade tooling so you can go from idea to working demo in hours
