AI Tinkerers Dubai - May Demo Day

AI Tinkerers Dubai: May Demo Day
AI Tinkerers Dubai is a technical show-and-tell for builders. We prioritize code, architecture, and live demonstrations over slide decks or marketing pitches. This event brings together engineers, researchers, and founders to share what they are building with foundation models and generative AI.
The room is curated to ensure high technical density. We review every registration to maintain a space for practitioners who can discuss implementation details, agentic workflows, and model performance. This curation keeps the discussions sharp and focused on the art of building.
Attendance is free. If you are interested in supporting future events, please visit aitinkerers.org/sponsors.
Agenda
- 11:30 - Doors open. Attendees arrive and settle in.
- 12:00 - Welcome and introductions.
- 12:10 - Demos begin. Each presenter gets a 15-minute slot followed by a 2 to 3 minute Q&A.
- After demos - Closing remarks.
- Post-closing - Food, drinks, and open networking. Optional Science Fair segment.
- 14:30 - Event wraps up.
The Science Fair
The Science Fair is an informal, optional segment that runs after the main demos. Builders set up a station for attendees to walk around, interact with projects directly, and have one-on-one technical conversations. This is a hands-on environment for showcasing side projects or experimental builds that did not make the main stage. Participation is open to anyone who wants to set up a station on the day.
Registration and Demo Proposals
You can register as an attendee or submit a demo proposal alongside your registration. Both use the same form. Submitting a demo proposal improves your chances of approval to attend.
A demo proposal should include a short description of the project (2 to 3 sentences), the tech stack and models used, and a public repository link if available. We welcome finished projects and work in progress.
No demo is required to attend. If you are building with AI, register to join the room. The registration count on this page reflects total submissions. Approved attendees will receive the exact venue details separately.

FAQ
Q: Do I need to have a demo to attend?
A: No. You do not need to demo anything to attend. If you work with AI in any capacity, you are welcome to register. Submitting a demo proposal does increase your chances of approval, but it is not a requirement.
Q: What is the Science Fair?
A: The Science Fair is an optional segment after the main demos where builders set up a table and showcase their projects directly. You can sign up in advance or set up on the day itself.
Q: I submitted a registration. What happens next?
A: Every registration is reviewed by the organising team. If approved, you will receive a confirmation along with the venue address. Registration numbers on the page reflect total submissions, not approvals.
