Klaro.ai, a content fact-checker

Klaro is a web-based fact-checking assistant that leverages Couchbase Capella and Cohere to validate user-submitted claims in real time. Claims are embedded using Cohere’s API and matched against a static set of pre-embedded, curated facts stored in Couchbase Capella’s vector index. Capella performs fast vector similarity search to retrieve relevant facts, which are then evaluated by Cohere’s language model for factual alignment. The MVP is a read-only web app with no dynamic storage or user data retention. Klaro is built to scale into a full solution with verified fact ingestion, persistent storage, and browser extension deployment.
